HEART exists to make mental health and addiction recovery more accessible, more compassionate, and more connected for every person who needs it. We believe everyone deserves a fair chance at wellness, no matter their story, background, or circumstance.
Our purpose is simple. We serve individuals and communities so they can improve their quality of life. We envision healthy, vibrant communities where people have access to the care, support, and resources they need to heal. That means preventive services, treatment options, and recovery programs that close the gaps in care and help people feel supported every step of the way.
We are deeply committed to the belief that people and families can grow, change, and thrive. Recovery means hope, and hope is something everyone deserves.
HEART began in 2016 when a group of social workers saw how many people were falling through the cracks in behavioral health care. They noticed how confusing and disconnected the system felt for the people who needed it most. Instead of accepting it, they decided to build a place where care actually connects.
Since then, HEART has continued to grow, expanding programs, opening access to more communities, and working with local agencies, leaders, and providers to help anyone seeking support feel guided, not lost.
Our mission has not changed. No one should be left behind when it comes to mental health or recovery.
At HEART, you are more than a diagnosis or a case number. You are a person with a story. A person who deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment.
Our work is rooted in genuine connection. Your voice guides the process. Your goals shape the journey. Our therapists bring proven approaches, a caring mindset, and a respect for your individuality. One step at a time, we help you build a life that feels balanced, authentic, and meaningful.
If you are looking for a safe place to talk, learn, heal, and move forward, we are here.
Every staff member at HEART is trained in trauma-informed care. We use the principles of safety, trust, transparency, and collaboration through all phases of treatment. Our clinic follows a trauma-informed design that supports privacy and comfort, helping clients feel at ease from the moment they walk in.
Our programming includes trauma-centered approaches such as Seeking Safety for co-occurring PTSD and substance use, as well as EMDR in individual therapy sessions.
Recovery is more than a professional focus. It is a lived experience within our team. Together, our clinicians bring over sixty years of combined sobriety. They know what recovery feels like, what it demands, and what it can create.
This experience shapes how we support clients. We understand the setbacks, the victories, the doubts, and the breakthroughs. Recovery is not just treatment. It is rebuilding a life you can be proud of. At HEART, you are surrounded by people who get it and who walk beside you with real understanding.
